These two girls the black off RavenSpeck, The orange off AppleBlossom went to their new homes this past Monday.
Cinder kept throwing me fuzzy kits regardless of who I bred her to, ergo I sent her off to a new home. I don't much care for having fuzzies as they are harder to care for and the risk in new pet homes didn't set well with me. Out of my rabbitry and into a pet home.
This younglin' off Raven wasn't maturing as quickly as it's litter mates. I could not tell if male or female so it headed off to a pet home where gender uncertainties didn't matter. A nice black kit that should make for a good pet.
I think this is the right one. The three boys in Raven's litter are so similar it's hard to tell them apart when going only from pics. Anyways, he's moved in with Emily in Goderich.
Runty Spunky who didn't handle weaning well left for a new home this morning. Just a tiny lad who could fit in my hand with room leftover. New home with rabbit experienced folks.
Six kits to this duo. Most are black/broken black. One Blue, broken I think. She was insistent upon making a nest on the wire, my trusty nesting board came into play though so the kits were fine.
Watch Me Grow
Forest City Rabbit Club had an education day with the 4H kids. Teaching about all types of things rabbit from illness, to conformation, to handling as well as cage building and hosting a show.
it was a good day talking with kids, parents and other show oriented people.
I brought three bunnies along and sold them all.
These two boys off RavenSpeck found their ways into two separate homes.
SplatterBush's girlie went to a home with the black kit above.
SunShine's kit off Horatio. These two went in different directions.
Latte's girl. Really liked this girl, would have been happy enough to keep her too.
RavenSpeck x Horatio's two blue kits are off to a new home. One out London way, the other here in town. To good kiddos who should make good pets.
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
