These bunch went off to a young rabbit breeder. Raises commercial breeds. To a pet home with lots of children. A daughter from Triscuit. Jake from Corbin and Peach went to a breeder home. Harley Quinn from Peach and Corbin went to a pet home. And these four kits were called into the pet store. Cyan x Blaze kit off to a pet home. She'll be kept company with this boyo below. He's off Triscuit and Red Pete. This little lass of Nutmeg and Corbin is off to a pet home as well. Should be a good pet for a young girl. Almost forgot these two. This red girlie off Triscuit and Red Pete gave us a bit of a run. She decided she didn't know her new owner well and took off across the lawn! Three people merrily (well perhaps not so merrily) gave chase. Me saying "hey girlie, come on sweetheart, it's all good" she eventually found a quiet spot under a farm implement and by throwing pieces of wood to make noise she slowly hopped forward until she could be nabbed. :) Silly girlie. Her owner just texted me and said she's relaxing a bit more now. She'll be part of a breeding herd along with this young buck off Jilly and Red Pete.
Girls off Triscuit and Red Pete. Mature size unknown... will be between 5-10 lbs. I expect most of these to finish around 7-.8 lbs the red in the middle will be larger., one of the brokens will be smaller . Nice well handled buns.$25 to pet home, breeding home can negotiate. Boys off Triscuit and Red Pete. The broken on the end and in middle will be smaller as will the red boy on the end (probably 6 lbs). The second and third from the left will be a bit bigger (probably 7 lbs). This based on current rate of growth. $20 to pet home, breeding home can negotiate. These three boys are off Jilly and Red Pete. Expect them to mature to around 8-9 lbs. Red is big nice solid kit. They are quite easy going personalities. $20 to pet home, breeding home can negotiate. These two girls off Jilly and Red Pete are nice youngsters. I expect them to mature to 6-7 lbs. Neither is particularly large. They have their fathers curiousity. They should make for excellent pets or breeders for a smaller meat type rabbit. $25 to pet home, breeding home can negotiate. The two sable points continue to look for homes of their own, the japanese should be going to a new home this weekend. Nice young holland lops, $35. they are off PinPin and Roger.
Jilly's daughter off Red Pete is off to a new home. :)
AND every single one of the guinea pigs is off! WOOT WOOT. Had a gal come in yesterday morning and take the lot of them. She took Q's kiddo and the last from Carma as well. These three Guinea pigs got called into the Pet Store, off Eureka and Toffee. This bunny is going to be a therapy bunny for an autistic boy.
All the kits from my friends sold! WOOT WOOT! :) They have all gone into pet homes. First to leave was BEW, then the two boys, then the brown and just now the last white. I'm pleased for my friends. :) This mixed breed girlie off Carma and Red Pete along with her sister below have gone off to future breeding home. And one of the rescue pigs has found a home! WOOT WOOT. Will be going to it's new home on Monday.
15 kits born to Miss Triscuit. Turned out to be sixteen kits. Kits all a good size except one smaller. Watch Me GrowSo I bred Carma back early in the hopes she'd give me a bigger litter. No such luck. Only four kits. This doesn't make her worth keeping around just to raise up four kits when she's a large rabbit and should be fully capable of producing 10-12 kits. She had three broken, one white. This will be the last litter she has here. Watch Me Grow |
AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
