Seven healthy kits in a beautiful nest. I was convinced she hadn't gotten bred but she did! A gorgeous nest from a somewhat timid doe.

With just enough colour to be a broken, not a charlie, this young broken black went to a new home today. A couple of dwarf bunnies will keep her company. A Speck x Band kit from May 21. Her people messaged me tonight asking how long it might take for her to settle in. Apparently she likes the man of the household but tends to widdle on the lady of the household. Why would she do that? was the question. My best guess is the lady of the household either lacks confidence in handling a bunny, or has a perfume or odour about her that bunny can detect that bunny is not fond of. It could also simply be information overload for a young bunny. Immediately integrated into a household with two bunnies and not allowed her own place to call her own for a while.
I hope she is doing well and will thrive in her new home. She is definitely being a submissive girl in the picture they sent. Driving home today after picking up some needed items a phone call. We've lost our bunny and our youngest is distraught, do you have any?
Four hours later when life permitted, Miss girlie here went to her new home. She's a calm gentle lass who has inherited her momma's intelligence and her dad's calmness. A sweet soft touch who should mature into a doe with a curious nature, a love of head pets on her own terms, and a good spirit. Speck and Band. May 21st youngster. A Band and Speck kit from May 21st, this little girl is too smart for her own good. First to the cage door to greet me in the morning, and quickest to notice when I'm doing things. She's less bothered by heat then any others in her litter. I'm sure she'll shine in her new home.
This little fellow's owner had a bunny from me a few years back who recently passed away. After saying good-bye to him, they discovered it was time for a new bunny. He's a May 21 boy from Speck and Band. Update from his peopleFrom his owner: "He’s been running around, jumping, and exploring since he got home. We named him (Super) Mario because of his little moustache. He’s definitely a spunky little guy, he was not shy or scared at all. Both him and Harris (the little guy before him) have been such sweet additions to our home. Thank you so much. " Isn't his name fantastic? I love the name, suits him to a "T"
These two kiddos joined a home from a lady who purchased bunnnies earlier from me this year. Should be interesting to see how the bunnies all turn out wouldn't it be?
These two are off Speck and Band born May 21. Speck made a rather luck-lustre nest, but delivered seven healthy kits in the afternoon. Easy enough to give them some saved fur and get them on their way. Watch Me GrowI somehow managed to miss writing about this little girl. She went off to her new home on Saturday. Sorry J! Speck and Play are the parents of this lass from a March 1 birthing.
These two boys left at separate times yesterday, one to London, the other I don't know. :) They are March 1 boys off Speck and Play. The broken black is a curious lad who likes to have his nose into everything, the broken orange more laid back.
Speck and Play brought this little girl into being on March 1st. This whole litter was quite small in size and this little girl is quite petite. She's going to a home well experienced with bunnies.

AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com.
