She was kindling while I was doing chores, the kits I had checked looked big for Holland lop kits. She finished just as I was finishing chores with the last one dragged out and looking obviously deceased. I immediately double checked the nest and thought I had found another deceased kit.
The nest wasn't great so I set the two dead kits aside while I rebuilt her nest with saved fur. As I brought the nestbox back to the doe one of the kits started breathing! I was excited, helped the kit out by stimulating the lungs and breathing close to its face. Breathing became regular!!!!
My son texted me at 1130 and let me know all five kits were breathing well and were wiggly. So fantastic!!!
