I had a rescue come through, a young buck and I stuck him with Storm until he could go to his new home since I was short on space. I assumed that Storm was bred as she was with him for a couple of days and was correct. These kiddos were the result. They were born March 15. Dad came with the name Bailey, I changed that to Barney. He was a beautiful orange boy with a magnificent wide head.
This little girl went off to live with Moe. Her name is Maggie.
I almost had decided not to sell this little girlie, but then she did this huge attitude adjustment and decided she actually liked people. All that extra handling and treat-giving I did with her must have paid off. I did tell her new people that if she acts like a hormonal girlie in four months to get her neutered as it will mean she wants babies badly.
I had tons of interest in broken boy but no one actually willing to commit, and a breeder had been interested in the dark kit, but nibbled ears seemed to detract. I was delighted when guinea pig lady said "I want those boys!" Nibbled ears didn't matter, just good-natured kiddos. And that's what these boys are, good-natured kiddos that will grow into settled adults.

I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
