Canadian Breeders

Disclaimer.

Just because I list breeders here does not mean I fully endorse them.   I enjoy doing link exchanges.  I have NOT done business with all of the people listed and even if I did, one person's experience with another is their own personal experience.

When dealing with someone new, ask tons of questions.   ALWAYS when dealing with people and their stock, examine the rabbit carefully.  Make sure that it is healthy, that it meets whatever standard you are looking for, and know that you are buying THAT particular rabbit.   What I mean by this is that you are NOT buying it's pedigree,  it's parents, it's winnings, it's whatever.  What you are buying is what you have in front of you at that moment.  Sometimes nature will  give you something (particularly if purchasing young stock)  that no one would have expected.   For instance - young stock could turn out to be non-productive, senior stock that bred for the previous owner could go sterile, young stock could go through an unexpected growth spurt, a head that should pop won't, a sweet tempered rabbit could become ill-tempered upon maturity/lack of proper handling and such like.    That's how it goes.   Don't get mad just go with the flow.  Ask questions about what you can do should something go awry and get it in writing if you can.
