Activities you can do with your small animal

Rabbits: rabbit agility, show ring, fur sales, rabbit jumping, meat pen, fall fair, companionship, breeding.

Rabbit agility: Here's a link to the Canadian hopping club.  Robin over at Lilylane is willing to a be a point person in getting this sport going here in Ontario.
Showing rabbits: American Association of Rabbit Breeders , Southern Ontario Rabbit Breeders Association,   Ontario Council of Rabbit Clubs, and Dominion Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association.Meat Pen at fairs, shows and what not.  These can sometimes pay money for a good pen.   Usually they have to be a certain age to be shown.   They are judged for how similar they are to each other.Companionship.  Rabbits make excellent pets.   Love them, train them, work with who they are and just simply enjoy them.  :)Breeding: rabbits are bred for a variety of reasons, a good part of them being those 2-4 week old kits poking out of the nestbox and just being so insanely curious about the larger world around them.Fur: I haven't done fur sales, but I know that spinners like rabbit wool.   You'd have to contact your local spinners guild to see what the demand would be for the product.   OR develop a new hobby and use it yourself. :)
Guinea pig:Primarily companionship but I've heard of piggies being trained to give paw, to come when called, and such like.
