Rabbits and their Uses

Throughout the ages rabbits have been put to use by people in a variety of forms.   One might not always agree with some of the uses rabbits can be put to use as, but it doesn't change the fact that rabbits are a multi-purpose animal and should always be regarded as such.  :)

Fur to make clothing.
As part of the desire to not waste any part of the animal, pelts of rabbits are often used as well.   Rabbit fur is soft and makes for an excellent interior liner in inclement weather.

Competitive (or non-competive) Sport

Rabbit hopping.
This is an event where rabbits jump over well...jumps.   It is not set up like rabbit agility with tunnels and what not.  It is just straight hopping over jumps.    There are height and length sections to this type of event.
