a mix of girls and boys, need updated pictures to tell for sure who is what.
ChinPin had three kits to start with, the chinchilla doe died unexpectedly one night during the thunderstorm. Not sure what happened. The two remaining boys are doing well. The chin is being raised by peek-a-mommy.
These kits aren't quite old enough for new homes.
Will be selling the charlie doe and broken black buck.
Biscuit used to live in the rabbitry.
She is my watch bunny, she has always had a bit of an attitude.
I decided this spring since it was unseasonably hot and she doesn't do well in the heat to move her outside.
WOW>>> HUGE difference in attitude. I've been able to handle her kits from day one. Just a happy rabbit. BUT this cage too small for her long term.
Which led to the decision to leave her outside permanently and to build her more appropriate accommodations.
some happy bunnies
I still need to figure out how to do a nestbox for her out here. I need to be wind, rain, snow, cold, and predator proof. So it remains in the thinking process. But I do believe miss Biscuit will be a very happy camper in this outdoor habitat.
Today I did some revamping of the website. I think I will be posting most of my information on the blog attached to my website.
Facebook won't let me link to my blogger accounts, so I'm making some changes to how I do things.
I changed the layout and am working on adding different pictures to each page.
I would like to come up with a picture or something unique for my link pages.
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
