She was born Jan. 3, 2020.
Flight is a Harewing x Calypso pairing. She is a larger girl with her momma's body type. She took a long time to get bred for first litter and I couldn't get her to come in again. I finally decided to simply let her go rather than continuing to try. She's gone off to a pet home 2 hours from here so guessing the greater GTA.

Parents Step and Oscar produced a litter of seven. These two kiddos headed off to Mississauga today. The black, is now called Jakey, the buck is still waiting his new name.
The doe is a laid back, watch and observe before committing to action type of lass. Loves her hay and grains. She's fluffy without being fuzzy. The boy is a curious lad who totally chills when brushed out. He digs into pellets as soon as offered. He is a woolie but I don't know how his baby wool will hold up over time. Funny how siblings can be so different eh? I am beyond delighted to tell you that Miss Martha has found a home! This gorgeous silver tipped chocolate steel, from Ascot and Gregory has found a place to call her own. She'll eventually be a free range bunny. She was born Sept. 10, 2020. Miss Martha is a curious, smart girlie with a very gentle nature. She reminds me so much of her easy-going daddy. She was part of a litter of 10. Check out Martha's New Digs!Martha was originally quite shy when she moved, but she has come out of her shell.
In the words of her new person She is becoming more comfortable....she is out of her pen ...but confined to the one room so far She is using the litter well I have been bringing her treats so she is associating me with goodness ....coming towards me when i enter the room ! I thought when I swept she would hide but she was very curious about the broom. Not afraid at all Here are some pics She has a whole bedroom with beautiful corner window ...full sun all afternoon So this lovely family came out last night to see my bunnies. A young lady wanted a bunny to call her own. She oohed and ahhed over my littles. She narrowed it down to two, and then wanted to think about it and talk with her dad. An hour later, a choice was made, a decision made to meet after church confirmed. Step had a litter of seven with a new to me buck named Oscar. Most of them were fuzzies, but this little fellow has a softer coat, but basically normal. Born Oct 3, 2020.
His colour is black japanese, he is torted (dark nose). He's a soft-tempered boy, acting a lot like his momma. I expect he'll grow up to be a very easy-going adult. Charm tried hard. To pulled fur and had her kits, but the fur was in a different area than the kits and were feeling a bit cold when i discovered them. Moved the fur, added some extra, and kits warmed up. She's being a bit of a clumsy oaf with crying kits when she jumps in the box, I hope she'll get herself sorted out. 8 kits, a mix of light and dark. I suspect chestnuts and ??? Watch Me GrowThis little girl, part of a litter of six, off Heart and Band went off to her new home today. She'll be joining a bunny household, living the life of luxury as a pet. She was born on Oct. 3. She struggled a bit being raised with two litters combined as one, but she's recently gone through a growth spurt. She learned developed a HUGE love of hay and mixed grains and learned how to push her way through to the middle (where don't we all know the best hay is?).
I expect she'll be a lot like her momma when she grows up. A supersweet girlie with a love of apple bits and ear rubs. Webb has had another litter by Band, four kits born. I almost forgot to give her a box, and she had them within half an hour. Watch Me GrowMiss Sally has tons of personality and is very sweet to boot! She found her way into a Parkhill home today. She appears to be a dwarf bunny.
It was a hard choice for a Romania immigrant to Canada. Chestnut doe or broken black doe. But in the end, the broken black won out.
As she made her choice the new owner talked about why she was looking for a bunny. They lost their previous bunny to head-tilt, around the same time they learned their 20 year cat back home had passed away. A son mourned the loss. A new bunny will help with the whole mourning momma thought, so off this little girl went. She's a Beauty x Calypso daughter, born on Sept 11. Part of a litter of two, her brother found a home earlier. A family from Clinton with three young boys stopped by this evening to pick up two of Ascots girls. Part of a litter of 10, these girls are nicest youngsters. Born on Sept. 10. Momma Ascot was a bit of a clumsy lass, but did well overall raising Gregory's first offspring. Hopefully she'll do even better raising the next group! The litter contained dark chocolate, black, self-chin and steel offspring.

AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
