Polish offspring, from Miss Q by Ranger Born June 6 is off to a new home in Lucan. She should make for a good pet.
So the pet store was wondering what bunnies I had available, so I told them, and they asked me to bring in five bunnies.
These are the bunnies they asked for:
off to a home in Birr. This quiet lass of Triscuit and Corbin. To be the pet of an 11 year old.
These two girls off to be the pet of a 4 and 7 year old. The broken off triscuit and corbin, the polish off Vena x Ranger.
This fellow was supposed to go to one home, but they were a "I'm not home" person so I was disappointed by that, but then another person emailed about him so he found his own digs afterall. :)
These four went to the home of a new breeder, a kid who just needed a decent start in rabbits. Hoping he'll come join us at a show. :)
Off to a pet home in West Lorne. To be a loved pet for 5 year old girl. Named Tulip. :) She's off Pepper and Ranger.
So Forest City Rabbit Club had a show yesterday. :) It went well I think.
Lots of people. Three good judges. My son enjoyed the children's judging and pet show so that was good.
I brought Benito. He was the only broken senior buck so he won all his classes. :) He was consistently beaten by older seniors. :) Got good comments, generally just needs to fill out more.
I brought Gena. She was consistently beaten in her class of two by an older more developed senior doe. Received good comments, just needs to fill out more.
Gaylin "shows promise"
Rizzo "shows promise".
So time will tell eh? :)
Ranger is off to a new home. I traded him for a "to come" holland lop doe. Ranger and Xena were part of the children's judging class. Three Solid Chocolate animals for the children to look over.
four kits born of this pairing. two broken black, two solid black. Expect most if not all will be for sale.
Pepper x Ranger - Apr 17 - female. Off to be a pet to a six year old girl for her birthday. :) Will also be a family pet.
five babies born at 1000 a.m. Two peanuts, three normals. All broken. Easy litter for this well experienced doe. This will be "q's" last litter for me. She's been an excellent doe for me.

Miss Vena has been busy with her nestbox for the past week. yesterday she got quite serious about it and then popped out five solid chocolate babies. I was surprised they were all solid as she's a broken, but solid they are. Should be decent kits.
Watch Me Grow
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
