All these girls (born to Kettle and Daisy on May 26, 2014) and their moms (pictured below) are off to new homes. They are heading off to a petting zoo in the Brampton area.
This young lad (biscuit x biscotti, Apr 20) left as well. :) He is going to become the companion to a lonely wallaby baby. Apparently rabbits make excellent companions for them. :)
and look what I got to meet and hold briefly! YES!!!! it's a joey. It was abandoned by it's mom. In about 5 months it will run with a small kangeroo herd, in the meantime they ship in Kangeroo milk from Australia for it. It was very sweet. It's name is Geri.
These two girls off Biscuit x Biscotti born on April 20 went to a breeder home yesterday. I had thought to hold the one back, but decided that four meat does was sufficient.
These bunch went off to a young rabbit breeder. Raises commercial breeds.
To a pet home with lots of children. A daughter from Triscuit.
Jake from Corbin and Peach went to a breeder home.
Harley Quinn from Peach and Corbin went to a pet home.
And these four kits were called into the pet store.
This darker chestnut boy off Carma and Biscotti found a new home today. He'll be a companion bunny to a gal in Woodstock. Should make for a fine pet. :)
Loverboy Biscotti is finally a dad. This young buck is so in your face friendly and just desirous of being with the ladies, it's hard to quell him sometimes. :)
Last night he became a first time dad. All the kits are a healthy size and mostly content. One of the kits is quite a little squeaker though... talk talk talk. :) But it's well fed so it's probably like his dad.. a precocious youngster and will most likely be the first out of the nestbox. :)
Watch me Grow
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
