Today her people sent me this picture.
So Luna headed off to her London home about a week ago. When they received her they sent this message. "Thank you so much for all the information, we are already having so much joy with her! We named her Luna! :)" Today her people sent me this picture. Today Her People said "Hello just wanted to share a cute picture of Luna, we are all enjoying her! :)"

You may recall Baxter and Willa. Today Jill sent me the cutest picture of Baxter. Does he look so cute? To me he looks like he could easily become their lettuce nibbler. :)
From his person : " Baby Baxter is having a great time, enjoying the yard. Just thought I would send you an update! Willa is also doing wonderful. Thank you " May 26 this little boy left to go to his new home. Hey! I just wanted to let you know we got him home safely and he seems really happy and energetic, ate some food and drank some water, and is jumping around the room right now! Thanks again! I’ll send pics once he is all settled in so you can see how he’s doing every once in a while! Were in love with our bunny, who we decided to name Herby by the way :) He's adjusted great, and we've been doing lots of research both before and after getting him to be prepared. His owner has written a couple times about glitches they have run into such as Herby deciding that peeing on them or their couch was the thing to do. I suggested leaving him in his cage, even though it's small, would help him learn to potty in his cage better. Small areas actually help bunnies learn this more quickly. She also asked about bedding. My go to bedding with rabbits is either kiln-dried pine or wood pellets. As long as bunnies are in a well ventilated area pine works well. I tend not to recommend cedar as some bunnies have issues with it. Herby has some homemade digs He certainly knows how to chill out.
I recently received a lovely, but sad email. Dante, a bunny I sold in May 2010 has passed away. I am pretty sure he was one of Lucy's kits. Polish are amazing little rabbits which brought a great deal of joy to my life. I often think about getting some again. My name is K_____. I bought a blue Norwegian Dwarf bunny from you back in May of 2010. (he was actually a polish) He was the last bunny you had from that litter and you drove down to London from Exeter to bring him to me. My gosh was he the best bunny. Today we had to say goodbye to Dante. He was so social and loving. He always wanted to be a part of everything. He was a great companion for all these years. We are currently devastated by the void we are feeling today, but I wanted to say thank you for bringing him into our lives. Thank you again and stay safe. Doesn't he look like he had the best life? It was so nice to see pics of my polish again. I really enjoyed them as rabbits. My condelences to K and her family. Additional Words from KDante
March 12, 2010 - June 1, 2020 Today we had to say goodbye to Dante. For anyone who met him / heard stories about him knew how much he loved people and what a personality he had. What I learned from being Dantes person for the last 10 years was: - He loved bananas - For a pet that is a prey animal he was not afraid of trying new things, meeting other pets or getting into mischief. - He was a presences and would let you know if he wanted something - Bunnies like to have their home set up a certain way and if you did it any differently they would reorganize it to how they wanted their space. - He loved zombie movies and any sporting events. - As he got older if you were up past HIS bedtime he would thump to let you know it was bedtime (which came in handy during the week) - He loved nothing more then sitting on the couch with his people and getting pets. - He also loved figure eighting around you if you stood up and would chase you from one side of the room to the other. It was a game for him. Bunnies make great pets and I was fortunate enough to have him for so many years. Thanks to all who were part of his life and those who listened to my stories about this crazy personality called Dante. Love you and miss you bunny bunny. Yesterday I sent this little chocolate japanese holland lop off to her new home. her people messaged me and told me her new name was Lyla. They wrote: The bunny “Lyla” is doing amazing! She really adjusted so well over here and we are very grateful for you selling her to us! I was a little worried for her being in the car, didn’t seem like she liked it at all! She is such a pleasure to have around! Her temperament is so sweet and she’s very interested in everything! Thank you for the care sheet attachment, really appreciate it! If you wondered. Bunnies often don't care for car rides, they really just tolerate them. They are sensitive to noise and vibration so car rides tend not to be their thing.
Do you remember those two boys that recently found a home? One now has a new name... Apollo! Apollo is housed in an old hamster cage. Isn't it a huge cage for a hamster? It will be a lovely home for Apollo which a door giving him access out to room ever so easily. As he matures and need the cage redesigned they'll be doing that for him. His happy people. :) From his people: we named him Apollo and I think he is settling in good so far,
You may recall that gorgeous little dwarf buck that stayed here for a spell. He went to his new home this past Friday. Rather neat story. His new owner was at Walmart trying to find a good cage for Cheta to live in and a very kind stranger offered her spare rabbit cage to her. Wasn't that sweet of that stranger? He certainly looks comfy in his new digs doesn't he? Living the life of luxury. What more could a fun, energetic bunny want?
As his new person says "he's a happy boy". I absolutely love when I get messages like what I received this message today. I wanted to touch base with you, let you that "Dragon" has been renamed "Duke Bennington the Third". haha ridiculous, I know. We call him Benny. Anyways, he's settled in well and is an amazing addition to our family. Thank you so much. If you recall Dragon was the odd man out when one of the keeper girls decided to reveal himself as a young male. So his new owner was the beneficiary of that.
I sold Brother Cornelius in April. He's enjoying his new home. A space to call his own and a big friend to watch over him. What more could a bunny ask for?
I sold a little broken black boy to a gal with twins. She was just the kind of person I love to serve. Asking good questions, and getting a good idea about the rabbits I have available. Then she, after letting me know what her children were like let me choose. Two delightful children. But look who this little fellow chose to sleep with? It's just simply too adorable. This little bunny was first out his box, first to come for pets, first to eat alongside momma. I knew he was a boy from the get go, just part of how he acted. He's a precocious fellow and I think he will do well for them. An additional updateReceived: July 2.
I hope you don't mind, I kept your number to send you an update on our little broken black boy from Easter weekend pickup. :) You couldn't have given us a better bunny. He fits our family so perfectly! He is the most social little guy I have ever seen. He LOVES being held and cuddled. He follows the kits (almost 7 yr old twins) EVERYWHERE and allows them to handle him constantly. He is spoiled beyond belief LOL. He has already done 2 cottage trips with us and seems to love it and is so content. He just craves so much love from the kids it's so heartwarming to see. :) Thank you again for picking us the best one. |
AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
