The gal who took her has a few other bunnies and hopes to integrate her into her herd. A Nov 21 girlie
Charm's last daughter found a home. I didn't expect her to, but someone wanted to meet her and a couple of Ascot's kits. And she's off to a new home! Kinda neat eh?

TraceElement, or Elly for short had a litter of four with Saw. I'm hoping for some chocolate as Saw carries it. One kit DOA. She's fostering Speck's kit. Watch Me GrowI've never been so angry with a rabbit. Oh my. Speck had four kits, one DOA. She made a poor nest. I fixed it up. Three kits nicely snuggled. Mom fed and eating well. I finish my chores, check in on Elly, heard odds noises from Speck and found she'd killed one, was eating one, and had a foot off the last one. Needless to say I removed the remaining kit and gave her to Cherry for the time keeping. I later fostered this kit to Elly. Watch Me GrowPine left to go to his new home today.
A son off Penny and Saw, he's a sober minded lad. Well used to eating his hay, 1/3 c pellets and mixed grains. He was part of a litter of six, though three siblings didn't make it through birth. December 2, 2020 is his birthday. The three survivors were all slightly different shades of chestnut, Pine was the biggest of the three. Alpha went to his new home yesterday and Omega is staying here. I expect him to grow up to be a quiet lad, his personality being more like his mom than like his dad. His name Pine suits. I really need to get an adult picture of Cherry, it just never seems to happen. After her kits are raised I'll put her out for her official picture. LOOK! I got a new pic of Cherry! She's a nice young doe who is VERY food focused. Today she had a litter of seven dark kits. She did a great job of building a nest though not all her kits were under the fur pulled. Rearranging the nest just a tad helped with that. Watch Me GrowThis little fellow off Penny by Saw was born as part of a litter of six on December 2nd. The three kits that grew up were all slightly different shades of chestnut.
I think this little guy will grow up to be a lot like his dad. A funny boy with tons of attitude that simply makes me laugh. Saw has become my latest sweetheart and I think this youngster would give him a run for his money. May he make his new people fall in love with him. :) His new name is Alpha! Holland lops and their ears are highly variable when they are babies. They can be lopped, upright, down, airplane, one up one down and literally all over the place when they are little. A case in point for sale picture First his new digs Two days later a week later Two weeks later Same bunny, but what the ears do.... they gradually do their thing. Some people keep petting them down, others let them come down on their own, it's entirely up to their people. But loppy ears are weird.
I had a doe once, she as a meh rabbit until she hit around 11 months. Her ears lopped, her head popped. Became one of my best rabbits. I almost got rid of her and I was so glad that I didn't. Her influence still runs through my lines. After a failed meeting last night, a youngish man came tonight to pick up Webb's white boy. It was a very quick meeting since it is rather cold out tonight. He's a Nov 15 boy off Webb and Band, part of a litter of four. His colour was kind difficult to determine. He's most white but has light spots near his nose and on his ears. A pink-eyed-white he's a very sweet natured boy.
So Pepper off Spice and Band was SUPPOSED to go as a trade to gal up near Hamilton, but that ended up not working out. So I asked Emerald if she'd be interested since she had asked me about getting a chin a couple weeks ago.
Sometime in the spring I'll get a doe off her in trade, just a matter of finding the right one. Anyways, he was born Nov 7 and was part of a litter of seven. RJ from Webb and Band, a Nov 15 kit from a litter of four is off to her new home in St. Thomas. A smart lass I advised her new boy to do some trick training with her to keep her busy.

AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
