Male Mice - Feb 24, 2023
fuzzy and fuzzy satins
Female Mice - Feb 22, 2023
My female Mice. Fuzzies first. Some are more fuzzy than others. The less fuzzy might moult out. Most of these fuzzies are out of a fuzzy/fuzzy breeding and should keep their coats. Some look a bit off due to the cold weather and mice snuggling together in hot little balls of warmth.
Normal coated kits. Again, some look a bit sweaty due to them snuggling together in hot little balls of warmth.
Male Mice - Feb 5, 2023
The unique among my mice
And my normals
In case you wonder why some of them look damp or sweaty... it's because they kinda are. The varying temperatures have them huddling together for warmth and then it's gets warmer and they don't stop huddling. :) It does eventually even out and they are perferectly fine. They actually might have too much warm bedding for their own good but it's a bit of a guess sometimes as to how much they need.
Heading to a new Home
Some mice of mine are moving to a new home.
Siegfried and Roy
Two little boys happy in their new homes. Rather a neat wheel for them to run on eh? An orangish coloured long hair, and a pale beige short hair.
Sold two mice, one bunny
This little girl off PinPin by Reacher born April 21 is off to a new home. :) She's just a little dollie, and should make a great pet. :)
Also sold one black and one brown female mice today to a pet home in London.
Off to a pet and/or breeding home
Also sold all of our mouse growers. WOOT WOOT! We can now afford to purchase rat chow for the mice, they'll grow better and do better now. :)
News of the Day
This week I trim all the rabbits nails. Good it was to have nice weather and be able to accomplish that needed task.
This morning I cleaned out the mice.. they were getting a bit dirty and I don't like 'em like that so I gave them a good clean and then I divided them up girls and boys. I was surprised to see we have 73 boys and only 36 girls.
Stevie has decided that being a mom is totally optional so I put her kits in with Carma. Hopefully they'll do well with her there. Carma is a big doe and only gave me four babies, so taking care of five more wee ones shouldn't be a big stretch for her. So I bred Stevie back since there was really no point not to, and hopefully next time she'll go oh... being a mom, that's an excellent idea. :)
Sold a rescue bun today. This little girl is off to a new home in London tonight. Her folks came out late and fell in love with her. :)
Sold bunny and some mice.
This boy from Sienna x Sarge, born on Sept 8 found a new home today. Pet home in London.
He'll make a young lady and her fellow happy. :)
also sold some mice to a young fellow for a breeder home. The bicolour in the middle left with a girl friend. One of the many blacks. My son has no mice ready to sell at this point. Waiting for babies to be born. :)
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
