This young lady moved into a London home today. Out of Frosty and Scout from Dec 16, 2021
This boy off Violet and Jack found himself a new placement in London today along with a couple of mice.
This young rabbit from Frost and Scout born on Dec 6 found his way into a new home. He's a handsome little due, smallest from a litter of 8.
8 Dark kits born to this duo. At this point suspecting black and chestnut. Since I don't know all the colours behind Frosty it is a bit of a guess. :) Excellent nest made.
Watch Me Grow
11 kits born to Frosty and Gregory. Some of these kits already show sallander markings.
Watch Me Grow
Adeline and Arlo found their forever homes today. Arlo is going to get neutered soon as he can be, and Adeline might have a litter of kits first... they aren't sure. But eventually Adeline will be neutered too.
But delighted mom! Delighted girls! Arlo is obviously delighted...
I fully expect Arlo to be as gregarious as his father Gregory. Adeline takes after her mom who is a shy quiet girl who takes her time developing trust. It will be great to see how she develops.
Born on May 16, 2021, as part of a litter of 11. Arlo was one of two fawns and Adeline one of three Sallanders in the litter. The rest were frosties, and one a creamy colour that might develop ticking as it ages.
So a while back a feller bought an entire litter off of me. Today we exchanged one of the bucks for this young grower. He gets genetic diversity, I get a buck to eventually replace Gregory.
This fellow is a Frosty/Gregory kit. Born May 16. Part of litter of 11, nine of which made it through to weaning. Mom Frosty was a first time mom. This fellow is the biggest of the boys.
I was starting to think that Frosty had missed when she surprised me with a well-made nest with 11 kits tucked inside. Her kits vary widely in size which I find very interesting. I hope they pull through as some are very tiny.
All are light in colour.
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
