Aid's June 25 boy off Calypso finally has a home. This serious minded small boy, I had thought for sure would find a home sooner, but today.... off he went with a birthday girl.

Broken tort off Puddle and Calypso, the sable off Tip and Band. Both born July 6. They left to go to their new digs this afternoon.
I can't find a post about this though I'm sure I have at one point or the other. Varmints in the rabbitry can be a major problem. Unless you have a fully enclosed shed or barn, you at some point, if you care for rabbits will have a varmint problem.
What I have dealt with and how I manage them:
Seven kits in a fantastic nest. One DOA. Hoping for chins in this litter and might have ONE! HOPEFULLY!!! I know I have some broken black, harlequin (maybe magpie), and agouti of some sort. We lost the weak one out of the litter. Watch Me GrowBella was a twerp this morning. I am training a gal to care for the buns when I'm away. I told her that when buns are buns 99% of the time. Showed her Bella's three. Bella acted DONE. I go out four hours later and bam.... there's a fourth kit! :) Not the best nest but quite functional. Silly girl GOOD girl! Watch Me GrowThis July 6 boy is off to a Dutton home. Mom is TipTop and Dad is Band. He is from a litter of six. A sweet-natured lad with a slightly retiring nature. Aid and Calypso brought this beauty into the world on June 25. A sweet lass who missed her sister Angel last night. She should do well in her new home.
Angel is a June 25th girl off Aid and Calypso. A tiny girl that I held back a bit since she's so little. Her new people are well-experienced with rabbits so she's moving into a good new home.
After my yard sale today I went to feed the rabbits and found her sister bipping about looking for her. She received her supper and that settled her down. She's got a night to chill with mom and then she's moving on to new adventures tomorrow. Off to London I go, Off to London I go, Hi ho the dairy oh. Off to London I go. Born June 25 to Aid and Calypso, this almost sable point girl found her forever home today. I needed to take the time to litter train her for her new people. We'll see how well that holds in her new home. :) Bunnies can be silly that way eh?
This July 6 baby off Puddle and Calypso went off to his new home today. A fine youngster who should do well in his new home. He's always been a momma's boy, a gentle soul.

AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
