Carrot is a tiny girl and this morning gave up four kits in her litter to Caper. All look to be tricolour, time will tell if they have smut. They already have round full bellies in a well-built nest.

So I was fairly convinced, due to no belly budge, that Onyx had missed. So I almost forgot to give her a nest box. I'm very glad that I did. She delivered up six kiddos in a largish nest just brimming with fur. I'm expecting them all to be tricolours. Onyx has one small kit that I've fostered to Juni, hopefully that will give it a boost for a couple of days. Watch Me GrowThree kits born to this first time momma. She built a marvelous nest and had them tucked into a small pocket of a nest. So far she seems to be feeding them. She is very mildly protective. Based on parentage I was surprised to see such a dark kit in the group. I expected all tricolours. Watch Me GrowThese October 5th babies from Frankie and Caper moved into their new homes today.
These young holland lops are part of a litter for four girls. Two which are black/orange tricolours, and two black/orange harlequins. Girl 1 is a black-orange tricolour, and girl 3 is a black-orange harlequin. They are very similar to each other. I expect girl 3 to be a gregarious bunny much like her daddy, and girl 1 to be a kind, but serious lass like her momma. This October 5th baby from Frankie and Caper moved into a rabbit familiar home. She's a holland lop.
She's part of a litter for four girls. Two which are black/orange tricolours, and two black/orange harlequins. This girlie is a sweet-natured girl with a slightly fuzzy texture to her coat. As part of litter of six he's used to being bumped around and his momma is a very kind easy-going girl. Her kits, so far, have seemed to be the same. This young bunny is a solid nice young boy. I expect he'll grow up to be like his dad. A sweet, easy-going boy who is very clean in his habits. Comments received:

An August 8 boy off Carrot and Caper. His owner is going to take a bit to think of a name for him and then we'll get that changed on the pedigree.
He's a lovely boy with some potential and she loves his colour patterning. A good orange/black harlequin holland lop. Four kits born to this duo. Frankie is a good momma, and Caper is a very sweet tempered clean boy, I'm hoping this duo will produce small, clean babies with excellent temperaments. Four in this litter. Should all be harlequin or tri. Watch Me GrowSquirt, also known as boy 3, left for his new home today. His owner had previously gotten a look alike from me about 10 years ago and decided it was time to get a new one. This young guy is a Cindy and Caper lad out of a litter of six. Siblings included tricolour and harlequin.
This little harlequin coloured holland lop was born on June 15. He's a sweet-tempered boy and I expect him to grow up to be a lot like his dad. An easy-going boy who adores his food and people. |
AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
