BUT he'll be helping a young lady with the start of a small rabbitry. She's prepared if he doesn't do well with her other bunny to give him separate accommodations. I hope that Saw will do well in his new home and give her beautiful babies with her female loppy.
I'm feeling a little bit sad today. BandSaw (or affectionately known as Saw) was one of my favourite rabbits. A solidly good boy to have around. Goofy, happy, eager to breed, no nasty behaviours, just a sweet easy-going boy.

I bred these two hoping to chocolate tris, I'm not sure I got them but really I'm not sure since today I have a migraine and everything looks a bit off. Woot woot for touch typing! :) Anyways, I was far more patient with Flower than I normally am, but she gave me a litter of four after FIVE tries! GAH, I was getting rather frustrated with her to be honest. I may stubble out just before bed and bring them in overnight since it will be COLD out tonight. Pictures will come when I'm up and able. Fully pedigreed litter Watch Me GrowSir Winston is going to a home with two boys that have ear/hearing issues. They were intrigued by a bunny with no ears. They will be supported by a lady who is well experienced with bunnies. Born Jan 28 to Elly and Saw. Tracks is heading into a breeding home, run by the lady who'll be supporting Sir Winston and his boys. Born Feb 9 from Beauty and Moose. He's a chocolate tricolour.
Rosie, a daughter off Elly and Saw, found her way into a new home this afternoon. A lovely family came to pick her up. Rosie is a sweet-natured girl who is very much like her momma at this age. I expect she'll mature to a kind adult with a fondness for cheerios. Her momma is a kind and gentle girlie mid-range in intelligence for a bunny, she'll hop up on box for cheerios. With training, I think Miss Rosie could learn to weave, hop up, and more. Perhaps more cheerios are in Rosie's future ... :) Her people sent some pics. Miss Rosie had an accident on her way home so she's looking a tad damp in the pics. :) We have fallen totally in love with her. She is a sweetheart thank you so much I wanted to let you know Rosie is doing great. She has begun exploring her new surroundings. Eating well. She even let me hold her and pet her and cuddle her. Loving her new bed and playing with some of her toys. I love how she stands on her back legs to look around and pushes her bed around her pen I think Miss Rosie shall be living an indolent lifestyle don't you? Just the right life for a pet bunny! :)
This young fellow, born Jan 28, 2021, off Elly and Saw went off to his new home today.
His people picked up this fellow back in January. (at least I think this is the right bunny). :) I expect him to grow up to be a confident, friendly boy who will make his people laugh. His dad Saw is a total character.. TraceElement, or Elly for short had a litter of four with Saw. I'm hoping for some chocolate as Saw carries it. One kit DOA. She's fostering Speck's kit. Watch Me GrowPine left to go to his new home today.
A son off Penny and Saw, he's a sober minded lad. Well used to eating his hay, 1/3 c pellets and mixed grains. He was part of a litter of six, though three siblings didn't make it through birth. December 2, 2020 is his birthday. The three survivors were all slightly different shades of chestnut, Pine was the biggest of the three. Alpha went to his new home yesterday and Omega is staying here. I expect him to grow up to be a quiet lad, his personality being more like his mom than like his dad. His name Pine suits. This little fellow off Penny by Saw was born as part of a litter of six on December 2nd. The three kits that grew up were all slightly different shades of chestnut.
I think this little guy will grow up to be a lot like his dad. A funny boy with tons of attitude that simply makes me laugh. Saw has become my latest sweetheart and I think this youngster would give him a run for his money. May he make his new people fall in love with him. :) His new name is Alpha! A Speck and Saw lad born November 8, 2020, this black holland lop boy is part of a litter of 5. Four of them made it to weaning. He is sweet and kind, an easy-going lad that never raises a fuss. My young chocolate buck found his way into a new home today. Out of Speck and Saw, born on Nov 8 from a litter of five. We had a lovely chat out in the cold learning about bunnies and long-term goals. I'm hoping his new person sends a picture of the hutch she plans to build when she's all done. :) She took this cage home with her. It will be a good way to start him off well. Check it out, Sage is in his new digs!

AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
