The drought is finished, at least with one litter. Five kits, suspecting two magpie, one chestnut and two black. A well made nest on a warmish winter nest.

A small homesteader, looking for bunnies to add to her homestead, brought these two youngsters into her home. Aida/Calypso boy and Tangle/Max girl.
And this little girl (sister to the one above) moved into a well-experienced pet home. This is the second bunny her owner has picked up from me.
Raven was supposed to be a doe but turned out to be a buck with a genetic fault. He's been sent off to a pet home.
Button is a small girl off Aida and Calypso. Her ears never lopped or I would have been tempted to keep her. off to a Chatham area home.
Berry's little runt found a new home. She suddenly put on some weight, doing really well once her mom was gone.
These two girls from Aida are off to Windsor. Two very different personalities, would have been interesting to see them grow up.
This stinker pot is off to a new home. Seven weeks old and needing to be in his own area... He was MUCH better behaved in his own cage, back to his sweet lovable self. Crazy kit. :)
Aida had her kits very quickly this morning. A litter of three. took about 20 minutes start to finish, including building the nest.
Watch Me Grow
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
