All these girls (born to Kettle and Daisy on May 26, 2014) and their moms (pictured below) are off to new homes. They are heading off to a petting zoo in the Brampton area.
This young lad (biscuit x biscotti, Apr 20) left as well. :) He is going to become the companion to a lonely wallaby baby. Apparently rabbits make excellent companions for them. :)
and look what I got to meet and hold briefly! YES!!!! it's a joey. It was abandoned by it's mom. In about 5 months it will run with a small kangeroo herd, in the meantime they ship in Kangeroo milk from Australia for it. It was very sweet. It's name is Geri.
Came home yesterday to 9 new wee ones in the guinea pig run. Exactly who belongs to whom.. I made educated guesses. Thinking that Kettle here had five pups with Daisy with four due to size of bellies during pregnancy. Could be wrong though, so it's all just a guess.

I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
