HareWing wasn't turning out the way I want her to so I chose to send her along to a new home. She may turn out better than I think, but she's also not the brightest tool in the shed. I will see her again since a breeder friend took her under his wing.
Nice litter in a well-made nest. I'm actually not sure if she had seven or eight. A couple were small, a couple larger and they were rather active on a cold, rushed morning so I didn't take the time to do a thorough count. Tomorrow is time enough for that. Was surprised to see a couple of lighter ones in the litter though, so time will tell what we have. Lilacs or Blues.
Update: 10 kits. three solid kits fostered to Moss initially. Still lost three broken black to nest drag outs. .

When I went out last night to shelve my babies for the night Raven had just finished having her kits. Poorly made nest, kits were just starting to chill. Added some saved fur to the nest and kept an eye on her. She was okay with that.

I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
