The folks who picked up Timothy also have a pair of Holland Lops. This is the habitat for those loppies. Isn't it a great running and living area for them? Complete with storage up top? I'm told that the area in front is also a running spot for them. :)
And I have never been happier.
A young lady and this older fellow...perhaps a dad? Came by tonight with their young doe looking for a companion for him.
Timothy was intrigued, the doe seemed a bit alarmed but interested. It was an odd bonding moment for the lass and her bunny. :)
BUT Timothy went home. It looks to have good potential to become a bonded pair. :)
My lad was sad to see him go, (as he's been nothing but a big hugable lug) but I am simply delighted that this big little boy has gotten himself a home! :) WOOT WOOT!
Below find some pics of Timothy's new digs. Timothy will be getting neutered soon.
I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
