Bonnet had me all worried, busy making a nest on the wire, but she managed to kindle in the nestbox. Three kits, two normal, one peanut. Both kits appear to be broken orange.

Quickly changing weather patterns can wreak havoc on bunnies, so I chose to send all my young rabbits to the pet store on Monday. I wanted them into a brick and mortar building with a more consistent temperature.
LilyFlower x SparksBranch, born Nov 15. Nice young boys. Both are tort otters.
This young tort from BrightSong and BonFire from Nov.11, 2017 was a sweet boy.
Bonnet's four boys from Bonfire (nov 29) were as cute as a wink, and should find new homes quickly.
This little doe initially caused me some concern, she wanted to kindle on the wire and made a lovely nest, but the weather is much too cold to allow that. I moved her into a solid bottomed cage, put her nest in an appropriate corner and waited to see what she would do. She decided to thoroughly destroy that nest, and kindled in the nestbox. WOOT WOOT!! Hopefully she's trained to use the box now.
She made a great nest and gave a litter of five babies, one is a peanut.

I have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards.
For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
